Student Placement and Internship Requests
Advantage Treatment Centers offer a variety of student placement opportunities for Colorado Addiction Certifications (CAC), undergraduate, and master level students. Students should expect to develop cultural proficiency working with a wide range of diverse populations through a multidisciplinary, community based, and integrated treatment approach. If selected, you will be required to attend and complete mandatory trainings as assigned as well as pass a background check. Clinical participants can expect training and exposure to areas and interventions such as: case management, client care, group and individual therapy, assessments, and intake/discharge planning as it relates to addiction treatment. Additional internship opportunities for other fields of study may be available.
